The output in this case is determined by taking the input times the efficiency rating. 96% AFUE The GR9T961205DN Goodman gas furnace is a 96% efficient furnace, making it a condensing setup. This efficiency means that only 4% of the fuel going into the furnace is used up in furnace operations, while 96% of the fuel is used to heat your home. As a condensing furnace, this furnace will need to be vented with plastic or PVC flue venting. If you need to use metal flue venting, you would need an 80% efficient furnace. Two Stage 9-Speed Furnace With a two stage burner, the GR9T961205DN provides two heating outputs: one at a 60% heating output and one at a 100% output. The furnace also has a 9 speed ECM motor instead of the last-generation inefficient PSC motor. Both of these built-in upgrades allow for your furnace to adjust the heating output and airflow more precisely to better suit your home's comfort needs and provide a slightly higher efficiency. Warranty With installation that follows your state and local codes and with online registration, all Goodman furnaces come with a 10-year parts and lifetime heat exchanger warranty through the manufacturer. Durability and Reliability The exterior casing on the GR9T961205DN is heavy-gauge steel that is insulated for enhanced protection and to lower air leakage and sound output from normal furnace operation. The hot surface ignitor is more efficient than earlier models and standing pilot lights thanks to its revolutionary new technology. Both of these end up saving you money on installation, maintenance, and bills. One to LPM-34 The cost-saving benefits of the Goodman brand doesn't stop at efficiency. The GR9T961205DN Goodman furnace can be upflow or horizontal, increasing the number of ways that your installer can install the system. The low-voltage terminals that are color-coded, the installation is faster and easier over standard non-colored systems. Straight from the factory, the GR9T961205DN comes with natural gas valves. However, increasing its versatility in installation, Goodman offers an LP conversion kit (found here at an additional cost) if you need it to be propane instead of natural gas. Not only does the Goodman brand save you money on installation costs, but also with maintenance and warranty work. In the event of a rare warranty issue, the on board self-diagnostic control board alerts you and your serviceman what is wrong with the unit for most basic issues for a faster solution. Please note that this furnace requires a drain kit if installed horizontally. Upflow configurations do not require the kit.

    RETURNS

    Our policy lasts for 48 hours from delivery for any buyer's remorse or incorrect product returns. The item must be in its original packaging, unused, and in original condition. If the 48-hour period has passed, you may still be eligible for returns, but you may incur return freight expenses and a restocking fee of 10-20%, depending on the product.

    It is your responsibility to return the item at your cost unless the return is due to an error or damage on our part.

    • Unopened, Undamaged Products: If you change your mind and wish to return an unopened product, please email returns@hvac-marketplace.com within 48 hours of delivery. Buyer’s remorse returns may be subject to return freight expenses and a 10-20% restocking fee, based on the product.
    • Opened, Undamaged Products: For opened but undamaged products, return authorization from HVAC Marketplace is required. Please email returns@hvac-marketplace.com within 48 hours of delivery to request return authorization. Buyer’s remorse returns may be subject to return freight expenses and a 10-20% restocking fee.
    • Wrong Product Received: If you receive an incorrect product, email returns@hvac-marketplace.com immediately with photos of the incorrect item and the shipment receipt. There will be no additional costs for replacements or reshipment.
    • Visible Damage Upon Delivery: If your package is visibly damaged, refuse delivery and email returns@hvac-marketplace.com immediately with photos of the damage and a note of the damage on the bill of lading. You’ll qualify for a no-cost replacement or reshipment.
    • Concealed Damage Upon Delivery: If damage is found after delivery, please contact returns@hvac-marketplace.com within 48 hours with photos of the damage. Failure to do so within this period may result in return freight expenses and a 10-20% restocking fee.

    REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)

    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within 14 business days.
