Designed with comfort in mind and an inexpensive but higher-than-standard efficiency option for nearly any application, this condenser is considered a good all-around option for almost any application. QUICK FACTS Factory pre-charged with enough refrigerant for a 15-foot line set, ensuring proper performance and efficiency right out of the box. 1.5 ton, 13.4 SEER2 AC-only condenser Can cool a small house in average conditions Single stage compressor Filter drier included to be field-installed Pre-charged with R454B refrigerant 1.5 Tons The ACiQ R5A4S18AKANA air conditioner condenser has an output of 1.5 tons, generally enough to cool a small house in ideal climates. In many system configurations, the tonnage of the unit's paired coil or air handler will be larger in tonnage than this condenser, which maintains the efficiency of the unit. Please note that this condenser cannot function or provide any sort of heating on its own, and it needs an indoor coil or air handler to work. If you have any questions, please contact us. 13.4 SEER2 The ACiQ R5A4S18AKANA air conditioner condenser is rated at 13.4 SEER2, making it between 5-7% more efficient than standard 13 SEER1 units, saving you money in electric bills over the entire lifetime of your unit. This unit (and all 13.4 SEER2 units) cannot be shipped or installed in the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia For more information about state efficiency requirements, please click here. Warranty ACiQ offers a 10 year parts warranty on this condenser. For these warranties to be upheld, the unit must be installed following your state and local codes, a new and certified coil must be installed at the same time, and the entire system must be registered online through the manufacturer. Durability The cabinet of ACiQ units are extremely durable. On the R5A4S18AKANA, there are reinforced corner posts and the internals of the unit are protected by an additional inlet grille, all to provide enhanced protection to the unit. All ACiQ condensers come pre-charged with enough refrigerant for a 15-foot line set, making installation faster and more convenient. This pre-charged design saves installers time and reduces labor costs by eliminating the need for manual refrigerant charging. It also helps ensure the system starts with the correct amount of refrigerant, minimizing the risk of improper charging that could impact performance and efficiency. With an efficiency of 92%, this means that the furnace has an output of 73,600 BTU, meaning that it is generally suitable for average houses in ideal climates. The 92% AFUE also means that for the gas going into the furnace, 92% of it is used to heat your home while the remaining 8% is lost out the flue piping and lost to normal furnace operations. All 92% furnaces require plastic/PVC flue venting, and if you need it to be metal flue venting to match your current setup, you would need to get an 80% efficient furnace. While this unit uses natural gas as fuel out of the box, we also have an LP conversion kit, available at an additional cost. Please note that this furnace is not Ultra Low NOx compliant and if shipped to California may be subject to a mitigation fee.     Our policy lasts for 48 hours from delivery for any buyer's remorse or incorrect product returns. The item must be in its original packaging, unused, and in original condition. If the 48-hour period has passed, you may still be eligible for returns, but you may incur return freight expenses and a restocking fee of 10-20%, depending on the product.

    It is your responsibility to return the item at your cost unless the return is due to an error or damage on our part.

    • Unopened, Undamaged Products: If you change your mind and wish to return an unopened product, please email returns@hvac-marketplace.com within 48 hours of delivery. Buyer’s remorse returns may be subject to return freight expenses and a 10-20% restocking fee, based on the product.
    • Opened, Undamaged Products: For opened but undamaged products, return authorization from HVAC Marketplace is required. Please email returns@hvac-marketplace.com within 48 hours of delivery to request return authorization. Buyer’s remorse returns may be subject to return freight expenses and a 10-20% restocking fee.
    • Wrong Product Received: If you receive an incorrect product, email returns@hvac-marketplace.com immediately with photos of the incorrect item and the shipment receipt. There will be no additional costs for replacements or reshipment.
    • Visible Damage Upon Delivery: If your package is visibly damaged, refuse delivery and email returns@hvac-marketplace.com immediately with photos of the damage and a note of the damage on the bill of lading. You’ll qualify for a no-cost replacement or reshipment.
    • Concealed Damage Upon Delivery: If damage is found after delivery, please contact returns@hvac-marketplace.com within 48 hours with photos of the damage. Failure to do so within this period may result in return freight expenses and a 10-20% restocking fee.

    REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)

    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within 14 business days.
