    Overview

    ACiQ Floor Mounted air handlers are ideal for sun porches and attic rooms where space to mount a standard high wall unit is not available. Sometimes called a heat console type air handler, these units surface mount low on the wall, near or on the floor. The shape is wider, taller and slightly shallower than the high wall unit. These are ideal for sun porches where the only wall space is below windows, or attic remodels with knee-walls, where vertical high walls may not be available. The ACiQ-18FM-HH-MB and ACiQ-24FM-HH-MB creatively solve various installation issues. Unlevel Surfaces: The pitch of the roof is often reflected indoors as well, providing angled surfaces that make mounting traditional air handlers impossible. This system uses threaded rod to allow the air handler to be level, even when the walls are not. The threaded rod can be adjusted to accommodate all geometry angles, allowing the system to touch the ceiling or hang several feet below it Uninsulated Roofs: The cassette and concealed duct air handler systems want at least a foot of space between the ceiling and the roof, this unit can work with a gap as small as one inch, which is what you often see with metal buildings and 3 season rooms. The air handler will be located near the edge of the room, blowing towards the opposite edge of the room, which is different than a cassette system, that blows air in all directions and is located in the center of a room. Sun Rooms: The air handler is actually mounted directly to the wall, fitting perfectly under the windowsill, elevated about 2 inches from the floor, even thou this is referred to as a floor mounted air handler, there is no need to drill or modify the floor as all connections can go thru the wall. Perfect for rooms that are mostly windows, these units pull air from the bottom and blow the air upwards, allowing heating the room in winter and automatically shutting off when the large windows are opened during the summer with the optional door-open sensor. Floor Installation: The unit can be mounted to the floor when drilling holes into the wall is highly undesirable, as it common with brick/marble surfaces. The refrigerant/electrical/drain line can be run thru the floor and entirely hidden from view. The system is pre-wired for a 240vac condensate pump with over-flow shutoff connections. Note: The 18k and 24k are slightly different in appearance from the 12k, and can be surface mounted on the floor or ceiling. Please see the appropriate manual for your model.

    RETURNS

    Our policy lasts for 48 hours from delivery for any buyer's remorse or incorrect product returns. The item must be in its original packaging, unused, and in original condition. If the 48-hour period has passed, you may still be eligible for returns, but you may incur return freight expenses and a restocking fee of 10-20%, depending on the product.

    It is your responsibility to return the item at your cost unless the return is due to an error or damage on our part.

    • Unopened, Undamaged Products: If you change your mind and wish to return an unopened product, please email returns@hvac-marketplace.com within 48 hours of delivery. Buyer’s remorse returns may be subject to return freight expenses and a 10-20% restocking fee, based on the product.
    • Opened, Undamaged Products: For opened but undamaged products, return authorization from HVAC Marketplace is required. Please email returns@hvac-marketplace.com within 48 hours of delivery to request return authorization. Buyer’s remorse returns may be subject to return freight expenses and a 10-20% restocking fee.
    • Wrong Product Received: If you receive an incorrect product, email returns@hvac-marketplace.com immediately with photos of the incorrect item and the shipment receipt. There will be no additional costs for replacements or reshipment.
    • Visible Damage Upon Delivery: If your package is visibly damaged, refuse delivery and email returns@hvac-marketplace.com immediately with photos of the damage and a note of the damage on the bill of lading. You’ll qualify for a no-cost replacement or reshipment.
    • Concealed Damage Upon Delivery: If damage is found after delivery, please contact returns@hvac-marketplace.com within 48 hours with photos of the damage. Failure to do so within this period may result in return freight expenses and a 10-20% restocking fee.

    REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)

    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within 14 business days.

    LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)

    If you haven’t received your refund, please check with your bank or credit card company as there may be processing times before your refund is officially posted. If you have followed these steps and still have not received your refund, please contact us at returns@hvac-marketplace.com.

    EXCHANGES (IF APPLICABLE)

    We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item, please email returns@hvac-marketplace.com to arrange the replacement.

    To return a product, please email returns@hvac-marketplace.com for return address details. You will be responsible for paying for your shipping costs unless the return is due to a mistake or damage caused by us. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
